Stops 30, 31 and 32

June 25- July 3 Stop 30 was right after leaving Stevensville. For a quick night’s sleep we stayed in the small town of Kamiah, Idaho at the KOA surrounded by the gigantic aspen trees. The pool was closed, but the arcade was open and the kids enjoyed playing some “really old games” (like the ones I thought were hip when I was a kid). Stop … Continue reading Stops 30, 31 and 32

Stop 29- Stevensville, MT. Goeltz Ranch

June 19 – June 26 The Goeltz Family is our friends family. We love them dearly and we always pick up where we left off! Over 20 years and counting! Man, did we have some celebrations! In addition to making sure … Continue reading Stop 29- Stevensville, MT. Goeltz Ranch

Stop 25- Mt Rushmore KOA at Palmer Gulch

Even though the kiddos traveled through this part of the country last year on their epic cross-country trip with Gma and … Continue reading Stop 25- Mt Rushmore KOA at Palmer Gulch

Stop 24 – Vinedo del Alamo

Tuesday June 2nd we headed from Arkansas to Fort Scott, Kansas. This little gem winery, Vinedo del Alamo, is a part of Harvest Hosts, a membership site for RVers who want to travel to the rural countryside. We met the owners, Denise and Bobby Duncan who are retired pipeline inspectors. They’ve been all over the world and in Fort Scott since 2008. They planted their … Continue reading Stop 24 – Vinedo del Alamo

Stop 23- Memphis KOA (that is actually located in Arkansas)

Monday, June 1st We had to book it to make it to our KOA site in time to set up, get Riggs all good to go before heading off 25 miles back across the Mississippi River into Tennessee to Graceland for our 3:15pm tour. Graceland closed at 5:30pm, so we didn’t have much wiggle room. And we had to travel about an hour round trip … Continue reading Stop 23- Memphis KOA (that is actually located in Arkansas)
