Stops 30, 31 and 32

June 25- July 3

Stop 30 was right after leaving Stevensville. For a quick night’s sleep we stayed in the small town of Kamiah, Idaho at the KOA surrounded by the gigantic aspen trees. The pool was closed, but the arcade was open and the kids enjoyed playing some “really old games” (like the ones I thought were hip when I was a kid).

Stop 31 brought us to windy, cold and wet Pendleton. The dog park and the playground at the KOA were pretty much all there was to see here. Izzy helped me get groceries, a car wash and some gas. We grilled some salmon for dinner and watched some Avengers.

We finally made it to the Bend/Sisters Garden RV Resort. We had a few days to unwind with our great friends, the Reynolds, who joined us for a staycation. The park is right next to the Sister’s Rodeo grounds and some BLM/Forest Service land. We took a few walks and lots of runs along the dirt roads and trails. The kiddos swam, fished and riding through the park on their skateboards. IMHO, this is the park to visit if coming to Central Oregon with an RV.

Next stop, home on Red Oak Drive!
