Stop 24 – Vinedo del Alamo

Tuesday June 2nd we headed from Arkansas to Fort Scott, Kansas. This little gem winery, Vinedo del Alamo, is a part of Harvest Hosts, a membership site for RVers who want to travel to the rural countryside. We met the owners, Denise and Bobby Duncan who are retired pipeline inspectors. They’ve been all over the world and in Fort Scott since 2008. They planted their vines and learned to make wine and the rest is history. They just sold their 24,000sf downtown and are ready to move closer to family in Texas to retire. They were such kind people. We bought some wine, shared some stories and wished them well! Their home and vineyard is for sale!!

Izzy and Ben loved feeding the donkey, Ignacious /Nacho Libre.

Clark did an outstanding job getting us situated in their only remaining site. 😉

Like a boss.
