That’s one big peanut!
Ozark isn’t very far from PSJ; right around 3 hours. In hindsight, we could have traveled further, but we were hopeful that we’d be able to check out the United States Army Aviation Museum in Fort Rucker. Bummer was that they are temporarily closed. Double bummer that the Ozark KOA pool was also closed because of repairs. But, we did get to walk around an amazing pond with the most incredible lily pads. The water wheel and the coy pond were a sweet touch to the campsite. The frogs were unlike anything we have heard before!

In hindsight, we probably should have heeded the written warning about spraying everything touching the ground with ant spray. 🤔 In under 12 hours, we had been infiltrated by sugar ants! We had to take some extra time before leaving the next morning to make sure Riggs’ food was transferred to gallon-sized bags. No sign of them in the pantry, but I’m sure they were thinking about it! 🐜 🐜 🐜. Off to Toomsuba tomorrow!
