Sunday January 12th- We had packed up the camper Saturday evening so we’d be ready to hit the road early- still took us right around 2 hours to get out the door after staying up later than usual. There’s something about the night sky when there’s a full moon- my 4 enchiladas and I just seem to have more energy than usual.
Not knowing what to expect of LA traffic on a Sunday afternoon, we rolled into Anaheim around 2:00pm. Our first order of business was to get laundry squared away. After 8 days with no WD, the pile of clothes was ripe. Thank goodness our RV park, Anaheim RV Park, had two sets of 4 WDs. 6 loads, $27 and 2 hours later, we were all much happier travelers. A huge shout out to Clean Slate Suds. We found this product at a summer farmers market in Bend. Small amount of product is great for compact travel. Oregon made and woman owned. (And no, I didn’t get paid to post that.)

Thy happy-happy dance may ensue.
I have to say that I’m really impressed with our RV park. It’s located across from Paul Revere Elementary School so the kids are reminded daily that all kids go to some form of school, and our neighborhood is well cared for. It’s also next to a dog park and the facility is extremely clean. We were even able to hire a dog walking service to take Riggs out for two walks tomorrow as well as to give him din-din. Pretty slick.
Tomorrow we head to Universal Studios to hang with Harry Potter, the Simpsons and Ben and Izzy’s fav, the Minions. Verlopluka da to ewe!
