First Stop. Had to fight to find a space (just kidding!) Good thing we had a reservation 😉 Met a fellow RVr, Cindy, who was on her way back from Tucson to Bellevue. She gave Izzy some lemons she had just picked that morning which we gratefully accepted as a good omen and start to our adventures.

Weather was chilly and cold. It seemed the wind was going to continue to follow us from Bend.

It was evident that the 2018 Carr Fire at Whiskeytown took no prisoners. We saw lots of burned tree areas and homes being rebuilt. 39,000 of the park’s 42,000 Acres were burned. The fire was started by sparks from a flat tire’s rim.
